Step 1 Evaluation: Acquire original up-to-date floor plans of sports facility. Survey/inspect sport facility. Determine sports facilities level of play. Design CAD specification drawings within regulations and code. Entity to assemble committee to approve budget and flooring system usually 3-4 key persons: President, VP, facility owner, marketing representatives or head coaches.
Step 2 Determine flooring system. Matching appropriate flooring system within entities budget. Consider special environmental/ architectural needs. Educate entity on flooring systems options and their advantages and disadvantages. Produce options and visual samples.
Step 3 Produce graphics mechanical. Determine color scheme and center court graphics to be displayed. Acquirecamera ready graphic standards on entities logo & entity branding specifications. Consider any special need that need to be address for facility activities.
Step 4 Set timelines. Produce schedule for work to be done and introduce superintendent. Establish time frames for each production phase. Determine supply delivery schedule, and allocate a proper storage areas on site for materials.
Step 5 Begin production: Surface preparation: leveling stripping, sub floor construction, floor application, sanding, lacquer, curing, graphic applications. Proper maintenance and maintenance scheduling to be produced and discussed with sports facility superintendent.
